About me
Hi I’m Colin and I provide manual driving lessons in the Bearsden area of Glasgow.

I have lived in the local area for the majority of my life. I was brought up in the village of Killearn and since married life, have lived in Bearsden with my wife and daughters for nearly 30 years.

Prior to becoming a driving instructor I worked in retail for over 25 years, in Glasgow and more recently in Milngavie for a well known supermarket, within in the home delivery service. During my retail career I had responsibilities supporting my colleagues and have experience of assessing the delivery drivers and most importantly looking after customers across all areas. I feel that my experience in retail will help me build a successful career in the driver training industry and I will guarantee you will receive great customer service. I enjoy working with people, especially seeing others develop and sharing knowledge, and there is no greater feeling than seeing someone achieve their goals.

I am passionate about road safety and want to promote safe and considerate driving standards. As a father I know how important it is for parents and guardians to make sure their children drive to a good and safe standard. One of the unique ways that we as LDC driving school operators teach our pupils is by using the LD system. The LD system is a workbook and driving videos which aid your learning and if parents want to get involved with private practice it is really easy for you to get involved.
